The Boy Governor

Oh how sweet it is! The boy governor has fallen. Let us all rejoice in this glorious arrest of yet another corrupt democratic politician. And yes, even the mighty governor (nothing more than Daleys lap dog) is from Chicago too! I always knew he was going down, but wow-trying to sell a senate seat!?! Even when this guy was defeated or wrong, he thought he was right. The guy claims he knew he was being recorded-HELLO, MCFLY!?! Isn't it amazing how all of these people are connected? Rezko, Blago, Celini...It is only a matter of time before even the great Obama is linked to some underhanded deeds, being that he was involved with these people. I am not a fan of Mike Madigan either, but wow, if ever a time to pounce and really stick it to Blago, now is it! It really is a sad shame that most of this state does not vote for these people. It is the aura of corruption that rings true in Chicago where the majority of the voters reside. We Chicagoans are the ones consistently putting corrupt politicians in office. It has become almost accepted as a way of life and the proper way to get things done. This perversion of goverment has been exponentially expanded into almost every office in the state. Wake up and listen to what the US Attorney has been saying. Never has he seen a state so blatantly and arrogantly corrupt without any conscience. Blago is an egotistacal sociopath. Remember, he is a product of Daleys pay to play mantra. Daley is also a sociopath and when he can't muster the votes to get his way, he stomps his feet and does it anyway (Miegs Field, new museum in Grant Park for example and Blago illegally expanded his unpopular healthcare initiative). They remind me of little sore loser children that when they can't win the game, they change the rules or take their bat and go home. They say things happen in threes, so hopefully, Fitzgerald will reach down and grab a pair and send Daley and Stroger on their way to club fed next. 1 down, 2 to go! Once these people are gone, watch the dominoes fall. Blago's closest allies are already coming forward to make deals in order to avoid prosecution and the man isn't even convicted yet! Freakin classic! Blago should now just step down. He shouldn't fight it, if his intentions truly were the best for the state. Pat Quinn should be installed as the interim governor until a special election can be held. Lisa Madigan should immediately move to put Blago on an administrative leave. If he is found not guilty (yeah right, hahahaha) then he can be reinstated. This is a unique situation that needs some crative soulutions. I cannot recall a time that a sitting governor was criminally charged while still in office! If anyone else can, please enlighten the readers.
This is another perfect example of why we need some fresh faces in our government. And we should start right here in Chicago, because we all know this is where the real seat of power lies. Start by voting for me for aldermen of the 19th ward in 2011. I am unconnected, I don't owe anybody anything, and I am just an average working class joe like the rest of the voters that matter! You matter! Make your voice heard. I will speak for all of you. I have no special interests other than cleaning up this cesspool known as city government, and God willing, county, state, and federal government as well!
